To protect the user’s feet from injuries during sports activities, we have designed sports shoe insoles and incorporated various materials. So, what materials are typically used in a pair of sports insoles?

  1. Foam: Foam materials such as EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) or PU (polyurethane) are commonly used in sports insoles. These materials provide cushioning, shock absorption, and support to the feet.
  2. Gel: Gel inserts or pads are often incorporated into sports insoles to provide additional cushioning and shock absorption. Gel materials can help distribute pressure and reduce impact on the feet.
  3. Fabric: Sports insoles may have an upper layer made of fabric for moisture-wicking properties and to enhance comfort. Breathable and moisture-wicking fabrics help keep the feet dry during physical activities.
  4. Arch Support: Some sports insoles include materials such as thermoplastic or carbon fiber inserts to provide arch support. These materials help maintain proper foot alignment and reduce strain on the arches.
  5. Heel Cups: Insoles designed for sports activities often feature heel cups made of materials like silicone or TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane). Heel cups provide stability, shock absorption, and help prevent excessive pronation (inward rolling) or supination (outward rolling) of the foot.
  6. Anti-Microbial Materials: To prevent the growth of bacteria and reduce foot odor, sports insoles may incorporate anti-microbial materials such as silver or copper-infused fabrics or treatments.

It’s important to note that not every pair of sports insoles will use these materials. However, most sports insoles will include some of these materials. Expand more related content: https://www.aideastep.com/sports-insoles/.
